Delia has been working in Zen Cart for nearly 20 years and is thrilled to show you her vision for Zen Cart 2.0. This template relies mainly on CSS and some additional jquery to give your users the best mobile and desktop experience.
This template is ideal for a website that takes full advantage of Zen Cart, relying heavily on subcategories, sub sub categories, attributes, additional images and lots and lots of text. It's highly adaptable for either full width site or one or both sideboxes. You can see examples here on 1.5.7/1.5.8: https://deliatest.com/readytogo/index.php?main_page=index&template_switch_id=classyWhite
The first item I tackled was the categories sidebox above left. As the css categories sidebox to display all categories used to be the only category box that allowed drilling down without changing to the page, I decided a rework was in order. You can have the same in a sidebox as well.
Since I'm seeing a lot of sites (and apps) using a navigation hash (dropdown) menu, that was next on the list. I had long given the option of adding information box and ezpage sidebox links into the menu and you can see the new dropdown at work above right. It's easy to turn off those extra links and just rely on ez page header links.
I've remade the product page to include show/hide sections so that on a phone you can hide sections and most importantly get to that all important buy now button and attributes.
*You have the option of the centerboxes below moved to the top on the home page. I recommend this for most sites. Here I'm highlighting the home page text.
